I followed the link from the EOS Forum. I have been agonising about a longer lens for several weeks but on seeing your images I am convinced that my way forward is to have a 300 mm f4 L IS USM. Thank you so much for helping to clarify my thoughts.

Followed your link from Naturephotohub Glad I did, (Cracking photos of the flies btw) just looked at your photo gallery. 1 word, Amazing I think there all Cracking Photograph’s. Or as we say in Stockport “Mint” (Excellent).
Can you tell me (if you don’t mind) was any shots taken with a Canon 7D if so what was the lens used.
